Location, location, location...where will you find a missing person? Most likely in habitual places.
If you wanted to be healed, where WOULD you have looked for Jesus, who was not where you would have been and therefore would be missing to you?
You would have looked first in the habitual places. To find those, you would have listened to people and would have questioned likely people "in the know", like the disciples.

If you went where the followers in the crowd of Jesus indicated, you would sooner or later meet up with Jesus.
If you went to places that would accommodate thousands of people, you would sooner or later meet up with Jesus,... but in a larger crowd.
The Pharisees could find him. (Matt. 15:1) Friends of sick people could find him. (Mark 2:4) The 10 healed lepers found him. (Luke 17:11-12) Jesus did not stay "missing" for anyone seeking him during his ministry time, unless God protected him from evil seekers for a reason.Lord, Jesus, Son of God most high, we thank you for habitual behaviour, that helps us discover the whereabouts of "missing people". Amen.
