Location, location, location...where will you find a missing person?
Location, location, location...where will you find a missing person?
Most likely in habitual places.

If you wanted to be healed, where WOULD you have looked for Jesus, who was not where you would have been and therefore would be missing to you?

You would have looked first in the habitual places. To find those, you would have listened to people and would have questioned likely people "in the know", like the disciples.

Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues.... Matthew 4:23
Gesù percorreva la regione della Galilea: insegnava nelle sinagoghe.... - Italian
Jesus gik omkring i hele Galilæa, underviste i deres synagoger,... - Danish
Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synogogues... Matthew 9:35
Gesù percorreva città e villaggi, insegnava nelle sinagoghe... - Italian
Jesus gik omkring i alle byerne og landsbyerne, underviste i deres synagoger... - Danish
He went up a mountainside and sat down.
...he came down from the mountainside...
Matthew 5:1; 8:1
Gesù sali verso il monte. si sedette....(poi) Gesù scese dal monte... - Italian
Jesus...gik han op på bjerget og satte sig...(da) Jesus var kommet ned fra bjerget... - Danish
He was at a lake, by the lake, on the lake, on the other side of the lake (all'altra riva del lago -It.; over til den anden bred -Danish). He went down to the lake....

He was on a boat (in barca - It.; om bord i en båd - Danish),
in a solitary place...(in un luogo isolato - It.; til et øde sted - Danish)
on the road to....(sulla strada di .... - It.; langs vejen til ... - Danish)

Jesus came into Peter's house... Matt 8:14
nella casa di Pietro - Italian
i Peters hus - Danish
He entered Capernaum... Matt 8:5
Gesù entrò nella città de Cafàrnao. - Italian
Jesus gik ind i Kapernaum. - Danish
The crowds followed him... Matt. 14:13
la gente seguirono Gesù - Italian
...fulgte efter ham... - Danish
The people in the crowd knew where Jesus habitually went.
If you stayed around your synagogue, Jesus would sooner or later meet up with you.

If you stayed near the entrance of a city, Jesus would sooner or later meet up with you.

If you knew where the disciples or Martha's homes were, Jesus would sooner or later meet up with you there.

If you went where the followers in the crowd of Jesus indicated, you would sooner or later meet up with Jesus.

If you went to places that would accommodate thousands of people, you would sooner or later meet up with Jesus,... but in a larger crowd.

The Pharisees could find him. (Matt. 15:1)
Friends of sick people could find him. (Mark 2:4)
The 10 healed lepers found him. (Luke 17:11-12)
Jesus did not stay "missing" for anyone seeking him during his ministry time, unless God protected him from evil seekers for a reason.
Lord, Jesus, Son of God most high, we thank you for habitual behaviour, that helps us discover the whereabouts of "missing people".
Amen.
